CCB Lani Rose was founded in 2019 by Leilani Gill. It was brought about by Leilani's love of fashion, design, and sewing amidst her job as a teacher at a sewing school.

The pieces are inspired by West African fashion and modern styles. One of CCB Lani Rose's goals is to make functional everyday wear. Upon starting the business on Etsy, Leilani began to go more into making custom pieces, modeling them, and sharing them on social media platforms with the hopes to sell her work and do Custom work, as well as making the hashtag #girlsneedpocketstoo, due to the thorough frustration from buying clothes that didn't have pockets, or had false pockets. So many of our pieces have pockets so that women's clothing can be a bit more functional.

We've done work throughout the DMV area. From Casual Personal garments, to Costumes for Dance groups, Wedding Pieces, Birthday outfits, and alterations
